Founder of Phat Kat Tats, Walter “Wally” Jones presents the 2010 US Tattoo Master’s Competition. This unique event takes place on October 22nd, 23rd, 24th 2010 at the George R. Brown Convention Center – Exhibit Hall E in the heart of Downtown Houston.
“Best of the Best” tattoo artists from around the world will be competing for more than $100,000 in Cash and Prizes. After the success of New Extreme Millennium Tattoo Extravaganza, Wally Jones has taken the event to new heights; the 2010 US Master’s Competition will have 200 of the world’s best Tattoo Artist Super Stars. Super Stars from around the world will be competing for the prestigious right to be known as the “2010 Tattoo Master.”
The competition (tattoo artist - register here) is open to the public, and you must be 18 to attend. This is your best chance to make appointments to have that military tattoo restored, old boyfriend’s name covered-up, or just get that original, nostalgic, modern or tribal tattoo you have been waiting to get by one of the competing stars of tattooing. What makes this event even more unique is the fact that you can win thousands in cash and prizes just by attending and registering at the event.
The holidays are fast approaching; fortunately patrons can take full advantage of 3 full days of shopping at the Master’s Art & Gift Market. With over 400 vendors, some of which are renowned tattoo artists, selling original and unique art including; unique jewelry, motor cycles, custom accessories, huge selection of fashion t-shirts, designer caps/hats, and clothing, you are sure to find that unique gift for yourself or that special someone.

When you are there, be sure to register at the competition for a chance to win a free tattoo by one of the competing artists. Also, for the first time, votes from the general public will count towards the tattoo championship. To win you must register at participating sponsor’s retail locations, web sites or at the event.
The US Tattoo Masters Competition seminars will be hosted by top minds in the tattoo industry, exploring tattooing technique, small business management, marketing and instructional highlights will also be taught by top artist & business minds in the world.
